The Company was incorporated on 19th April, 1990 under the name of Khatod Investments and Finance Company Limited in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Registered office of the Company was shifted to West Bengal on 20th June, 1997. The Company, being a Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) by nature, is governed by the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. Engaged in Non-fund based activities, the Company was formed with the object of lending money and negotiating loans, draw, accept, endorse, discount, buy, sell and deal in Bill of Exchange, Promissory notes, bonds, debentures, coupons and other negotiable instrument and securities, Issue on commission, subscribe for, take, acquire and hold, sell, exchange and deal in shares, stock, bonds, obligations or securities of any Government, local authority or Company. The Company is also involved in acquiring or giving on lease all kinds of motor vehicles, motor cycle medical equipments, air conditioners, computers, televisions etc for the Company whenever its deems fit. Financing, whether by way of making loans and advance to or subscribing of the capital of private industrial enterprises in India, also forms part of Company’s main objects.
